Looking to start the weekend off on a high with this classy horse. Last start winner who should enjoy the slightly longer trip. With Newitt on board, it must be a certainty. (Favourite)
Doomben R1 - 5 More on the Toe (@ 12.25pm)
Last start Doomben 16 July ran 2nd in field of equal class. Unlucky in last start when bumped out wide for 5th place, after a gutsy win at EF 30 July 2008. Looking for the rails run to steer a top three finish. (Each-Way)

Had the goods Doomben Aug 2 over 1110m and the extra 90m today should suit. Good record at this track and in form jockey on board. (Favourite)
Rosehill R3 - 9 Black Piranha (@ 1.48pm)
Missed a place in last over 1200m when unable to get a clear run. Track work and barrier trials have impressed and this five year old is ready to impress for second win over this distance (Favourite). Note: Consider with #1 and #12 in a box trifecta.
Caulfield R4 – 12 Miss Valley Road (@ 2.07pm)
Only had the one start but it was an impressive run. Was back mid field before running down the leaders to get third. Should get a better run today. Watch for the future (Each-Way)
Doomben R6 - 8 Coonac (@ 3.33pm)
Resuming after spell and primed for this run with trial win 900m Gold Coast August 5. Unbeaten here and with the rails run is a great chance at great odds. (Value)
Rosehill R6 - O Danny Boy (@ 3.45pm)
Failed to impress in last start when stuck 4 wide on final straight. Barrier trials were impressive and showed potential. Looms a threat. (Value)
Caulfield R8 – 12 Utterly Fantastic (@ 4.45pm)
Surprise winner last start @ odds and could do the same today. Up against some good horses resuming but has lost 3kg from last start. Usually runs better second up and could surprise. (Value)
Rosehill R8 - Sir Rivercorp (@ 5.05pm)
Claimed a strong win over 1150m in last start at this weight after an 18 week spell. Consistent in form and should handle this class well. Look for a bold show. (Each Way)
