Free Horse Racing Tips - 09/08/2008

A big day of racing across the country today. A few of the stars from last year are getting back on the track today. Spring is in the air.

Todays free horse racing tips are for Rosehill, NSW Eagle Farm, Queensland, Flemington, Victoria and a special from Morphettville South Austrlia.

Eagle Farm R1 - 2 Tears'n'Cheers (@ 12.20pm)
Consistent form in last two outings with 2nd place in both races. Started favourite last start and much better odds on offer today. Barrier draw will suit. (Each-way)

Flemington R2 – 9 Lara’s Glitter (@ 12.45pm)
A picture of consistency of late. Yet to get over the line first but has come close. Back in class today but up against a handy field. Can handle the dead track and the distance. Big chance to upset today. (Each-way)

Eagle Farm R 3 - 2 Stirring (@ 1.30pm)
Hit form at Sunshine Coast 20 July Class 3 Hcp 1000m for the win. Good track record at EF and with 3kg apprentice discount and good barrier draw should go close again today. (Each-way)

Flemington R4 – 4 Joontoo Gemini (@ 2.00pm)
On board Joontoo Gemini last start when she dead heated for first. She was suppose to start last weekend but was scratched late. Last start was up against Reichman and Glistening as she will be against today. Up to 2520m today and the extra distance will help. (Favourite)

Rosehill R4- 8 Delago Star (@ 2.20pm)
Consistent over last 4 runs and coming off a strong win in last over 1900m. Must be considered. (Each-way)

Flemington R5 – 4 Conquering (@ 2.40pm)
Has been racing well @ big weights in Tasmania. Shifts back over to the mainland today and with 6.5kg less could surprise. Has been racing @1400-1600. Big step up today but Gauci has been riding well and could be the difference. (Value)

Eagle Farm R 5 - 3 All Again (@2.50pm)
One of the chances in a fairly open race, but offering plenty of value. Placed last 3 starts and drawn well to position early in the race. Hard to ignore on form. (Value)

Rosehill R6 - 1 De Lightning Ridge (@ 3.40pm)
Disappointing run in last after 21 week spell. Form prior to spell showed potential and should return after today. Must be considered. (Value)

Morphettville R6 - 3 Threedee (3.50pm)
Hit line strongly for 2nd July 7, then ran wide of the field from outside draw July 26 for place finish. Suited this track and distance and perfect barrier draw to make an impact today. (Favourite)

Rosehill R7 - 4 Kenny’s World (@ 4.20pm)
Coming into top form with a win from last two starts. Up in class but should be able to make it three from three. (Favourite)
