Free horse Racing Tips - 02/08/2008

Here are today's free horse racing tips from The Syndicate for Saturday 02/08.

After a good couple of weeks The Syndicate crashed last Wednesday. We still managed to return a 5% profit for the month but we will be hoping to do a lot better this month.

So it's a new day and a new month so lets hope we can start with some good wins. Today we will be racing at Caulfield, Victoria and Doomben, Queensland.

Caulfield R1 – 6 Wavelength (@ 12.10pm)
Unlucky last start when finishing 3rd. Has not really had much form on the board but has moved supported in early markets. Beaten last start by Bird Dancer but should go better today. (Each Way)

Caulfield R2 – 3 Safe Sanctuary (@ 12.45pm)
Has been in great form recently with two wins in the country. Set up in class today for the Saturday metro races but is super fit. Enjoys a dead track and on form must be considered. (Value)

Doomben R2 - 11 Shagerz (@ 12.55)
5 year old gelding in good form coming off win Class 2 South Coast Heavy track 1200m 12 July. Drops 6kg and with in form jockey Brad Pengelly, low weight and inside barrier draw should handle this field comfortably. (Favourite)

Rosehill R2 – 2 Star of Crown (@ 1.05pm)
Hit front 200m to hold onto a win in last. Won over 1400m in June with similar performance. 4 year old loves this track and will be hard to hold out. (Favourite)

Doomben R4 - 14 Brookie Babe (@ 2.05)
Impresive first start when 1 1/4 length 2nd 1000m S Coast 2YO Mdn dead track Mar 9. Recent win July 1 at EF Trial 800m. Wide barrier draw a little concern, but under light weight and stays on notice at good odds. (Value)

Rosehill R4 – 7 Onethingatatime (@ 2.15pm)
Won last start over 1350m and been a consistent finisher since January. Look for this one to upset the favourites (Value)

Caulfield R5 – 3 Ma Shang (@ 2.35pm)
Has got the results on the board recently but had all the luck last start and could not get over the line. Today is no bigger challenge but win B.Rawiller back on board today hopefully the lessons have been learnt. (Favourite)

Rosehill R5 – 9 O Danny Boy (@ 2.55pm)
Won by a clear length when last raced at this distance in February. Had a disappointing run in last start however this seven year old will jump well from this barrier and battle to the line. Invest. (Each way)

Doomben R6 - 4 Rebounded (@ 3.25)
A syndicate value special from July 26 when lead all the way to a comfortable 2 length win Dmbn 1615m Hvy Track. Up in class but has the barrier draw and low weight to team up again with apprentice jockey Mandy Radecker for a repeat dose. (Each Way)
