Canterbury R1, #1 So Bewitching (@1.05pm)
Unlucky in last and was forced to settle for second over 1500m. Looks to have the field covered today with a favourable barrier draw and will be the one to catch. Caution must be given to #5 Princess Iris which will find today's track conditions suitable (Favourite).
Canterbury R2, #7 Pacific Chief (@1.40pm)
Has been trialling well but has yet to impress on the track. # 5 Magic Tyson impressed in its first run and will treaten today however the inside mail has Pacific Chief ready to perform (Each way)
Canterbury R3, #1 De Lightning Ridge (@2.15pm)
A old Syndicate favourite with good form earlier this year. Has struggled in last two starts in July and August but should be right in this (Each way)
Canterbury R4, #3 Swinging to Win (@2.50pm)
Has placed in last two starts and recent trials have been impressive. Should be right in this but caution must be given to #2 Almoneef (Each way)
Canterbury R5, #2 Supernova (@3.25pm)
Won three starts back with a solid run over 1600m in August. Recent form has been disappointing but track conditions and draw should suit. Be wary of #4 Baby Casino in the final straight (Each way).
Canterbury R6, #9 Mean Beans (@4.04pm)
Struggling on form recently but this surprise packet has registered a win over this distance and prefers a good track. #1 Joku will be the one to beat but Look out for Mean Beans to upset the favourite (Value)
Canterbury R7, #4 Abbacina (@4.43pm)
Consistent form since February and trialling well. Unlucky in last to just miss out on the win at 1250m. The drop in distance will suit today (Favourite)
