Free Horse Racing Tips - 30/07/2008

Here are today's free horse racing tips from The Syndicate for Wednesday 30/07. After a good couple of weeks The Syndicate is up for another great day. Today we will be racing at Sandown (Hillside), Victoria, Canterbury, New South Wales and Eagle Farm, Queensland.

Eagle Farm Race 1 - 1 Worth Doing (@12.23pm)
4 year old gelding that has been spelled for a year and half following ¾ length second (58kg) 1000m at this track. Returned with a half head win 900m Mdn trial slow track July 15. Carrying the 58kg again, but well rested and in a good position to make an impact in this race. (Each Way)

Sandown R2 – 11 Square Dancer (@ 12.50pm)
Has been racing well in the country lately and should do well stepping up to the metro races. Back to back placings one on a heavy track. Always hard to judge city v country form but looks promising. (Value)

Eagle Farm Race 2 - 13 Yamarjie (@12.58pm)
A previous syndicate ‘value bet’ nomination on 16 July, running second to offer the punters a discounted place payout of $9.50. This race tougher but still paying good odds and light jockey and barrier draw 3 will suit. (Value)

Canterbury R 1- 3 Walpersdorf (@ 1.08pm)
Battled hard to narrowly miss a place in last start. Track conditions will suit, look for a bold show. (Value)

Sandown R4 – 10 Starkron (@ 2.00pm)
Had been in good form before being spelled November last year. A horse with heaps of ability that should do well first up today. Has won first up before and in a fairly open race today should get the win. (Each Way)

Canterbury R 3- 1 Che Casino (@ 2.18pm)
Challenged strongly in last for the win over 2100m. Looms as a threat (Favourite)

Sandown R5 – 3 Mosseltov (@ 2.35pm)
Another horse, which is stepping up to the metro races today with solid country form. Only 3 starts for this mare but with a win and two places she is one to watch. This is also a pretty open race but winning form is good form and she should get win number 3 today. (Favourite)

Canterbury R 5- 3 Yoburg (@3.28pm)
Kicked hard in final turn in last start at this distance to claim place. Has a liking for this distance on a heavy track. Expect to see a strong finish (Value)

Canterbury R 6- 9 Piccadilly Rock (@ 4.05pm)
Won last start over 1200m with a superb last 200m run. Will start as favourite and should perform well with a strong run in final straight. (Each Way)

Eagle Farm Race 8 - 2 Crystal Sentinel(@4.33pm)
3 year old colt resuming from spell with ¾ length win July 6 then tightened for room 2nd 1350 hvy track Doomben C5 July 16. Nicely drawn, a solid jockey and the one to beat on recent form. (Favourite)
